How to become an ENERGY STAR Builder-Partner

To become an ENERGY STAR Builder-Partner with the NoCO ENERGY STAR Homes program you must be registered with the National ENERGY STAR Program.

To register for the National ENERGY STAR Program, visit www.energystar.gov/join

• Select your partnership type. (This will take you to a page that explains how to apply)
• You will be asked who your ENERGY STAR Rater is.
• Fill out the ENERGY STAR Partnership Agreement for Builders.
• You must be the person that has the authority to bind your organization to the terms of the agreement.
• After you've registered you will receive an email from ENERGY STAR that includes a conformation number.
• Upon approval of your Partnership Agreement you will receive a second email directing you to complete the required online Builder Orientation.
• It will take you through a tutorial with questions after each section. The tutorial takes about 45 minutes to complete.

If you are currently an ENERGY STAR Builder-Partner you will need to complete the Builder Orientation prior to January 1, 2012. Sign in at www.energystar.gov. Login-in and it will take you to My ENERGY STAR Account where you can complete the Orientation.

Upon completion of the Orientation you will be registered with the National ENERGY STAR Program and have access to many partner resources to help you market your ENERGY STAR homes.

Once you are registered with the National ENERGY STAR Program contact NoCO ENERGY STAR Homes and we will add you as NoCO ENERGY STAR Builder-Partner.
